Creating an Evolver Avatar

To create my avatar, I first adjusted the facial features.

Then adjusted the coloring (eye adjustment above).

Then I made the body slightly more realistic :)

Finally, I added some clothes before I went on to animate my avatar here

Final #6: Group Solar System Building

Scale measurements for the planets.
I created a sphere and lifted into "orbit"

Then I added the "Jupiter" texture to it.
Then I added the script to make Jupiter orbit (Jupiter is obscured by the sun in this screen shot)

Jupiter (circled in yellow) is now orbiting.

Roll Call 2, Class 12

Final #4: Monocular Depths Cues

Size Differences: This is a screen capture of two identical plants in RocketWorld.  The one that is further away seems smaller, though both are the same size.

Occlusion:  The colored cylinders are placed "in front" of each other to give the illusion of depth

Atmospheric Perspective:  The object is indistinct due to the distance from my avatar distorting the view.

Lighting and Shading:  Light strikes the cylinder lightening the color.  The color gets progressively darker as is moves around the cylinder where the light is less direct.

Linear Perspective:  The yellow road seems to get narrower further away from my avatar's viewing position.

Texture Density: The bricks of the wall seem larger and spaced further away from each other close to my avatar's viewing position.  They appear to get narrower and closer together the further from my position they go.

Roll Call 1, Class 12

Final #3: Co-operative House Building In Rocket World

 2-D Blueprints

To build the garage, I used two flattened cubes and two right triangle pieces.
Then added the back wall
I matched the color to the house.

The driveway was installed
A longer view of the garage and the driveway

Then I added three blocks to be the "door"
