Customizing Avatar in Rocket World

I customized the appearance of my avatar in a few ways:


First I changed the body to be taller and thinner












Then I modified his head, eyes and hair














Then I changed his clothes including his shirt . . .











. . . pants and shoes

Midterm #8

To achieve the image above I used the blur and smudge tools to :

1. Remove some facial hair
2. Touch up the dark circles under the eyes
3. Clean up the short hairs on the back of my neck
4. Straighten up the sideburns a bit

Midterm #7

To create the image above, I followed these steps:

1. Searched for an image of Jon Stewart on Google
2. Saved and cropped the image removing extra scenery
3. Downloaded the "eyes" logo and re-sized it to fit the eyes in the image
4. Used the ellipse tool to select and copy the logo
5. Pasted the image over the eyes in the image of Jon Stewart
6. Used the rectangle selection tool and filled it to make a black box on the bottom
7. Added various phrases using the text too, changing font color and type for each

Midterm #6

To create the above animated GIF, I followed these steps:

1. Used the Text Circle script in GimpShop
2. Changed the text to read "Dennis Gibbons" and hit OK
   
3. Added a new layer
4. Copied the text from the first layer and pasted into the new layer
5. Used the Rotation tool to rotate the image 45 degrees
6. Anchored the new layer
7. Created more layers using the steps above
8. Saved as an Animation changing the frame delay to 500 milliseconds
